TL;DR
This is the book that came out of the Netflix culture deck.
It’s got a lot of interesting ideas, e.g.
- You’re a team, not a family
- The company and its employees grow at different rates, and turn-over is necessary and desired
- Be a good company to come from
- Pay folks at the top of their personal market
I don’t agree with all of it (mostly because the parts I don’t agree with seem to be a bit mercenary), but I do with most of it.
