The Messy Middle

Finding Your Way Through the Hardest and Most Crucial Part of Any Bold Venture

Scott Belsky

TL;DR

I really wanted to like this book.

It’s supposed to be a guide to getting through the hard part of an enterprise, not the start or end, but the “messy middle” where things don’t go exactly according to plan.

But it didn’t really have much to sink your teeth into. There are better how-to books (Fearless Org, Radical Candor, High Output Management) and the stories that he tells just seem to be a bit too much name-dropping and not enough details.
