Collaborative Software for Scientists

At Scimatic, building software for scientists is our raison d’être. Which is why we’re always excited to see the other folks in the space build stuff as well!
Mozilla Science has just announced their collaboration program to help people (not necessarily only programmers) to dive into open science projects.
The projects all seem interesting, including ones on:
- Data file discovery and merging
- Big data visualization
- Social media data mining for tracking disease emergence
- PCR analysis
.. and many more.
The projects tend to favour Python with a bit of JavaScript thrown in. If that’s up your alley, dive in!
